Clínica Dexeus is a world reference centre for assisted reproduction. Every year it delivers more than 2,500 babies. In 1984 its first baby was born through in vitro fertilisation and since then 12,000 children have been born at the clinic thanks to this technique. They can rule out up to 32 genetic diseases in embryos.
IVI is an assisted reproduction clinic with more than 28 years of experience in the sector. It was founded in 2010, under the auspices of Assistència Sanitària, as a centre specialising in the study of infertility and the application of the most advanced treatments to resolve fertility problems. TRANSPLANTS
Barnaclinic is a century-old university hospital with a long tradition in research, and a world reference for liver diseases. It is one of the most active liver transplant centres in Europe with long-term survival results well above the European average. It has also just celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first kidney transplant performed in Spain.
THE EYES, THE MIRROR OF THE SOUL
The Institute of Ocular Microsurgery (IMO) has been dedicated to finding solutions to any eye problem for more than 25 years. It is recognised by the medical community, who rate IMO as the best ophthalmology centre in Spain, according to the latest Top 10 hospitals report, drawn up in 2012 by the OCU.
